SCAN is a user friendly multiple language diagnostics scanner with a virtual intuitive operating menu. It offers advanced diagnostics and reads & deletes trouble codes. Plugs into the standard OBD (On-Board-Diagnostics / data link) plug. SCAN is initially unlocked for H-D models only & includes H-D connector slave cables. From the included USB stick a program (Operating Suite) is installed onto your computer. Then SCAN is connected to your computer to install the latest H-D software. SCAN can be used for other motorcycle brands, but these must be unlocked first. Unlocking is done by purchasing a 'Software Token'. - Software Tokens? MCS MCS SCAN comes unlocked for H-D® models. Unlocking other motorcycle brands is done by purchasing a 'Software Token', for unlimited use of the software. When you order a Token, you must provide MCS with the serial number of your SCAN, found on the rear side. When you connect your SCAN to a computer SCAN will auto-update. Software tokens are available in 2 variations: A) MCS 963474 = Activate one more motorcycle brand of choice. B) MCS 963475 = Activate multi-brand (activates all brands supported by SCAN). Note: Optional connector cables for the various motorcycle brands are sold separately. - Updates? MCS SCAN will receive free of charge future updates for the motorcycle brands you have unlocked. For receiving updates SCAN must be connected to a computer. - What's included?
