Single fire. For kick start. Module only with instructions. Modules are pre-programmed with ignition curves for use with specific S&S engines. Only set basic timing, no further adjustments necessary. Set-up for kick start, where the engine wil spark the first time. (electric start models will turn 3 revolutions before ignition sparks, this to prevent kick-back and damage to electric start components). 

Note: All modules can be set to kick or electric start by a certified S&S dealer equipped with Super Stock diagnostic cable & software. Then it is also possible to view: Time at wide open throttle (WOT); length of time engine was operated at various temperatures; number of engine starts; total running time; time spent in various RPM ranges; max. RPM and amount of time spent at rev. limit. It also enables the dealer to turn-on the 24 hour 'break-in' rev. limiter function. If set it will protect a new engine by limiting engine revolution. Only after 24 hours runtime the engine will be able to reach the maximum of 6300 RPM. Only modules on new S&S engines sold with the Super Stock ignition system will have the 'break-in' rev. limiter turned-on.

Single fire. For electric start. Complete kit that includes the module with hardware, pick-up cup and mounting screws, VOES switch with hardware, connectors and instructions. Modules are pre-programmed with ignition curves for use with specific S&S engines. Only set basic timing, no further adjustments necessary. Set-up for electric start, where the engine will turn 3 revolution before ignition sparks. This is done to prevent kick-back that may cause damage to electric start components. 

Note: All modules can be set to kick or electric start by a certified S&S dealer equipped with Super Stock diagnostic cable & software. The 2000i module is adjustable with switches, like the earlier 2000i, but now also programmable through a PC to suit your ignition demands (curves) for maximum performance. Another new feature is data recording. The module records a series of data and stores it. The recorded data can be downloaded with a PC to show engine builders how the engine was used (or abused), should there be a problem in the future.

Note: 902524 programming harness Pigtail is also required when using 902528 programming kit. It  must be purchased separately.

2000i ignition module, complete with two Dynatek 3 ohm single fire / single plug tower coils. The module is simply adjustable with switches, nothing else required. features include an intelligent overvoltage/overcurrent protection, a short circuit protection and an adjustable retard timing. But if you want more... it is fully programmable with the, optional available, programming kit (902528) and harness (902524). Another new feature is data recording. The module records a series of data and stores it. The recorded data can be downloded with a PC to show engine builders how the engine was used (or abused), should there be a problem in the future. 
Offers PC programmable: 
* Eight point definable wide open throttle curve. 
* Eight point fully definable partial throttle curve. 
* Rev. limiter in 50 RPM steps. 
* Programmable dead cranking revs 0-10. 
* Programmable rear cylinder offset of +/- 10 degrees.

Note: It is recommended to use ignition modules & coils of the same manufacturer. Intermixing different brands may cause premature failure. Coil must be within range of 2.5 to 3.5 ohms. Carbon, graphite or spiral core type suppression spark plug wires are required. Do not use copper core wires. 
Note: Dyna does not offer the ignition rotor. The OEM Harley rotor (OEM 32402-83) and mounting bolt (OEM 2611B) should be re-used or ordered separately as 920402 rotor & bolt kit. 
Note: Optional programming kit is available as 902528 (Incl. software, USB connections and operating instructions). The programming harness 902524 (Programming harness, Pigtail. Installs on bike, it is the link between ignition and the USB) is required to program the 2000i ignition module. .

Offers switchable multi/single spark, race/street mode, RPM limiter and a kick/electric start mode, no PC required. This HI-4N module used to be made by Crane, now by S&S. Nothing changed but the name. Same great technique, same dependable electronics. The HI-4N offers more options than the famous HI-4, with even better reliability. The HI-4N comes with switchable single/dual fire (with built-in, multi/single spark, race/street mode, RPM limiter and a kick/electric start mode). Easy initial static set-up with built-in LED timing light. The sensor housing contains fully encapsulated electronics to resist vibration, moisture and dust, and are mounted directly to the metal housing which serves as a heat-sink to prevent overheating. Easy adjustment with 4 rotary switches that offer perfect precision. 

Note: Compatible with 2-3 Ohm coils. It is recommended to use ignition modules & coils of the same manufacturer. Intermixing different brands may cause premature failure. 
Note: The ignition rotor (OEM 32402-83) and mount bolt (2611B) must be ordered separately or re-used. Rotor & bolt  kit is available as 902268 (S&S) or 920402 (import). 
Note: Module may not fit 00-03 XL models due to the slightly smaller diameter of the ignition cone used on 00-03 Sportsters. 
Note: The difference between single dual fire explained: 
- Dual fire - 
This is the way the earlier, pre-Twin Cam, engines work. A single coil is used and both spark plugs fire simultaneously. This is the simplest system. The 'wasted' spark is sometimes said to be horsepower robbing. 
- Single Fire - 
This is the way the stock 00-up Twin Cam engines work. Two separate coils will fire the spark plugs independently and only the spark plug of the cylinder that is on compression stroke will be fired. It is said that these engines vibrate less and can improve power. The effects will become more pronounced with hotter cams and higher RPM.
